A screening of Stephen Dunn’s acclaimed first feature film, Closet Monster, will take place at the Fogo Island Cinema (in the Fogo Island Inn) on Saturday, November 21. The filmmaker will be in attendance.

Closet Monster took home the Best Canadian Feature Award at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in September. The film is a coming-of-age story about an imaginative young man’s struggle to break away from his toxic family and come to terms with his sexuality.
