Mark Lewis is a Canadian artist living in London, where he is Professor in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and co-founder and co-director of Afterall, a research and publishing project. Recent solo exhibitions include Canada, Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto and Galveston, The Contemporary Austin. Lewis represented Canada at the 53^rd Venice Biennale in 2009. In 2016 he received a Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts.
