Tak Pham: Curator’s Talk
Join us Friday, November 17 at 5pm at the Orange Lodge, Barr’s Islands, for a talk and Q&A with curator and art critic Tak Pham on his ongoing research into “immersive art.” The term has gained popularity in recent years, often used casually at dinner parties, product launches, or to describe various entertainment experiences. This widespread use has served as the inspiration for Pham’s research, which aims to delve into the term’s etymology, its development within Western art history, and what creative practices we can anticipate in the future.
Pham is a curator at Illingworth Kerr Gallery and his residency is generously supported by the Hnatyshyn Foundation.
