Zak Leazer and Zoë Hitzig
Zak Leazer is a researcher and master’s candidate in architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. His research focuses on architecture and fashion as stages of identity construction and ecological speculation.
Zoë Hitzig is an economist and a writer. She is the author of two books of poetry, Mezzanine (Ecco, 2020) and Not Us Now (Changes, 2024). Her poems have appeared in the Paris Review, The New Yorker, Harper’s, London Review of Books, and elsewhere, and she currently serves as poetry editor of The Drift.
Zoë Hitzig and Zak Leazer are the recipients of the Rise and fall of Tides residency, which is dedicated to research into community economies and alternative economic models.
